The embattled National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has asked the governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha to do a self – examination because there is what he called ‘a united voice against his style,’ in his state.
Chief Oyegun stated this in an interview with journalists in Abuja on Sunday.
He was responding to the questions put to him on the allegations leveled against him by the Imo State governor.
Okorocha had alleged that his travail in the hands of some party chieftains in his State was masterminded by Oyegun be he (Okorocha) opposed the tenure elongation earlier approved for the party leadership.
Chief Oyegun while declining to go into details on the issue said, “there’s a united voice against the governor.”
Chief Oyegun said Okorocha, “wasn’t the strongest voice behind the objection to tenure elongation so why is his case different? I don’t think it is necessary to go into details.”
